National Association for Patient Participation (N.A.P.P)

The first PPGs were set-up in around 1972 and N.A.P.P was established in 1978.  It is uniquely placed as the only UK umbrella organisation for patient-led groups in general practice.  Experience has shown that successful practices and effective PPGs go hand in hand.

The aims of N.A.P.P are to see an effective PPG in every GP practice and to maximise the benefits of sharing common interests while recognising the individual nature of groups.
