Dr Claire Chambers MB BS MRCGP DRCOG DCH DFFP (Partner)
Dr Chambers qualified at Barts in 1999. She completed her training in general practice in Bath and Somerset before moving to Dorset. She then spent three years working in Northern Ireland and Cyprus accompanying her husband during his Army career. She enjoys remaining a generalist and the variety this brings.
She is now permanently settled in Marnhull with her husband, three young children and a dog. In any spare time she enjoys walking and gardening.
Dr Kathryn Mounde MRCP MRCGP DRCOG DFFG (Partner)
Dr Mounde qualified from Barts in 1997. She spent several years working in Acute Adult General Medicine in London’s East End hospitals before settling as a Partner in general practice in Balham. In 2011 she relocated to Dorset with her husband and 2 energetic young sons, joining Gillingham Medical Practice in September 2012. Dr Mounde has a specialist interest in Allergic Medicine.
In her free time she loves spending time with her family and other interests include the theatre, travel, food and gardening. She is an avid follower of many sports and enjoys the gym, tennis and walking.
Dr Will Fenton MA (Oxon) MBBS (London) 2001 MRCGP DRCOG (Partner)
Dr Fenton went to Merton College, Oxford and then the Royal Free and University College Medical School from where he qualified in 2001. He completed his GP Vocational Training Scheme back in Oxford for three years before moving to London. He then worked at the Heathbridge Practice in Putney for 3 years as a salaried GP and then a Partner for the final 7 years. Dr Fenton has specialist interests in Cardiovascular and Chest Medicine, Men's Health, Minor Surgery and Joint Injections. He is also a GP Appraiser and was a teacher for St George's Medical School for 8 years.
He has moved back to Tisbury where his wife hails from, along with their two young children and a dog, Maude. He enjoys history, early music, cycling and following Oxford United in his spare time.
Dr Chris Pearce MBChB BSc DFSRH DGM MRCGP (Partner)
Dr Pearce qualified from the University of Bristol and worked initially in North London before completing GP training at St George's Hospital in South West London. His GP training included posts in Medicine for the Elderly, Dermatology and Sexual Health. He has interests in COPD, Medicine for the Elderly and an interest in teaching.
He worked as a GP in Balham for just under two years, but moved to this area with his wife having grown up just over the border in Somerset. He has two daughters and enjoys spending his time with his family and likes hiking and travel.
Dr Geoff Lewis MB BS MRCGP (Executive Partner)
Dr Lewis is the Executive Partner of Gillingham Medical Practice. He qualified from the Middlesex Hospital Medical School in 1981 and initially specialised in Paediatrics at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington. He has been involved in the Local Medical Committee, Registrar Training and GP Appraisals since that time. He remains interested in all aspects of general practice and values the continuity of seeing families and children growing, and coming back to see him.
He is married to a local Businesswoman and has two children. He is interested in climbing, sailing, skiing and tennis.
Dr Clare Boulind MBChB, MRCGP, DRCOG, DCH, Certificate in Diabetes (Partner)
Dr Boulind qualified from the University of Sheffield in 1996. She then completed GP training in Lincoln over 3 years, followed by 4 years with the Ministry of Defence, working in Germany. She returned to the UK in July 2005 and became a Partner in a Practice near Bristol, where she remained for over 8 years.
For family reasons, a move to Dorset led her to Gillingham Medical Practice. She has a specialist interest in diabetes and is a GP Trainer. She also enjoys cooking, art and time spent with her family.
Dr Molly Anderson MBBS MRCGP DCH DRCOG DFSRH (Salaried GP)
Dr Anderson qualified at Newcastle University in 2003. She has since worked in North Durham, Bristol and surrounding areas. She joined Gillingham Medical Practice in June 2013. Her specialist interests include contraception and sexual health, substance misuse and palliative care.
Dr Anderson enjoys travelling, the arts, ballet and the theatre. She plays a number of sports and has run several half marathons, triathlons and swam the English Channel for charity.
Dr Sue Taylor BM MRCOG MRCGP DFSRH (Salaried GP)
Dr Taylor qualified from Southampton University in 1990. She initially specialised in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, mainly in Yorkshire, before coming into General Practice in 2002. Her specialists interests are contraception and women's health. She is a qualified GP Trainer and GP Appraiser.
Until recently she was based in Salisbury but now lives just outside Gillingham with her partner and their three rescue terriers. Her interests include literature, swimming and church bell ringing. A new interest is growing fruit and vegetables after discovering the exceptional fertility of North Dorset soil.
