Dementia Advice

Arts 4 Dementia 2017

In addition to the Dance and Drama workshops in Bournemouth and the remaining music workshop in Dorchester, you will see listed a talk from the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS) on May 15th in Dorchester Town Hall, followed by a guided tour of St Peter’s church.  These events are completely free to people with mild memory loss or dementia and their carers or partners, and we know from experience that, however doubtful they are beforehand, they will absolutely love them.

There will also be a number of other events across the county as part of a “festival” of arts and heritage for people with dementia in Dorset, during National Dementia Awareness Week (15th – 21st May).  Details of these will be available from the Re-awakening page on the Arts 4 Dementia’s web site, which is accessed by clicking on the link: Re-awakeing Festival 2017
