An opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist to join our busy team. It would be for a minimum of 10 hours per week. We will require someone with a flexible and proactive attitude and the ability to cover additional hours that will arise during particularly busy periods or to allow for holiday cover.
We are looking for a professional and friendly person to join our semi-rural, traditional Practice. The Receptionist role is a key position, being first point of call to all patients and visitors, booking appointments and carrying out other administrative duties. You will be working as part of a small team ensuring that the reception runs smoothly.
Experience of the following is desirable:
- Previous office/reception experience is an advantage, but ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a professional and courteous manner is essential
- Excellent communication skills both face to face and on the telephone
- Excellent IT skills with knowledge of all Microsoft packages and Date Entry experience
- Strong attention to detail
